Damorquis qualified for three consecutive Gwent Opens and holds the title of Gwent Challenger #4 champion. His passion for The Witcher universe and his real-life knowledge of behavioral economics helped him develop Team Aretuza, the strongest Gwent esports team in the world, which he manages. His extensive tournament preparation often results in ambitious, innovative decks that catch even the best opponents by surprise, and his highly disciplined approach to gaming, always looking for mistakes and areas to improve, provides his unique edge against the competition.
Green Cricket is one of the heads of Aretuza, creating an environment where players and content creators can thrive and continuously improve themselves. In addition to his work at Aretuza, he runs a Gwent YouTube channel for beginners and advanced players alike. He teaches how to become better at Gwent and offers one in-depth Gwent guide each week as inspiration.
As a big fan of the Witcher franchise, SwanDive is always on the lookout for her next Witcher fix. She started playing Gwent in the Closed Beta for the lore – and stayed for the game and the community. Long an avid gamer, Swan found her passion for CCGs and competitive gaming at the Gwent table. Away from it, Swan is studying for her Master’s degree in English and working as content manager for Team Aretuza.
A lifelong fan of strategy games from A Coruña, Spain, Sergi2Vamos began his competitive career in 2013 with Hearthstone, winning minor community tournaments and earning high leaderboard finishes. In 2016 he picked up Gwent and became one of the best players of the alpha, innovating meta decks and reaching the top of the leaderboard frequently. At the start of 2018, he joined Team Aretuza to help its competitive development. As captain of the team's Underlords squad, he organizes his teammates' efforts, helping them reach their best form.
Henno is the founder and recruiter of Team Aretuza. He founded the team to get a group of good players together, to become better at Gwent together. He is always actively looking for new talented people to work together with. His ambition is for the members of Team Aretuza to learn from one another and learn new skills, be it in playing, making content or managing. Henno is a decent Gwent player (at least that’s what he says when you ask him). But he mostly enjoys seeing other people grow.
