Crach's leader ability adds something unique to control decks: the ability to remove units 1 power higher than normally. Together with Dimun Light Longship and cards like Harald Houndsnout your removal capacity increases even more.

This is why we call this Ultra Control Crach.

With reward points to earn alongside ore, we decided to expand our Top Cards to Craft series to include a whole new article on our recommendations for which leader from each faction to unlock first. As such, the team sat down to discuss which leaders best suit newer Gwent players for each faction. As with other TCTC articles, this whole new article will continue to be updated as more leaders (and more factions) are added to the game.

Created by Gwent2town this deck tries to address some of Svalblod's weaknesses while keeping its strength.

Through the addition of engines and thinning, you are more likely to get your key cards, while you do not need to rely solely on your priests to get that value over time!

The User Experience Update may not have tipped the balance of power much, but tweaks to provision cost and power level still leave many decks in need of adjustment now the Season of Magic is underway. In record time, Team Aretuza and Team Nova bring you the first update to come to the Meta Snapshot this month, adjusting 10 decks to better represent their current form and slight adjustments to tier positioning. As always, this is just the beginning, with more decklists being updated over the next couple of days and the teams already working to figure out which new decks should be included in the Snapshot as the season continues.

Patch 2.2 for Gwent, as announced in the overview video, is simultaneously minor and major. Minor, because most of the changes for established players are small tweaks and quality-of-life improvements; major, because big changes are coming to the new player experience and a change to deckbuilding rules is set to shake up the competitive metagame.
