Special thanks to Gnurrgard for inspiring this project by sharing his knowledge on CCG theory and giving us continued feedback.
The number of points a card contributes to a player’s total, ignoring abilities.
In Gwent, only units have card power. This number is printed in white in the top left-hand corner of the card. The number is also referred to as card strength, or simply power or strength.
The number printed on the unit is its base power. A unit can be boosted so that its power increases. If a unit is boosted beyond its base power, the number will appear green while that unit remains on the board. A unit can also be damaged so that its power goes down. If a unit is damaged below its base power, the number will appear red while that unit remains on the board.
