A broad classification describing a deck's goal and win condition.
Deck type is the fundamental concept of what a deck attempts to achieve as part of its win condition. There are three basic deck types in Gwent: control, point-slam, and greed. As a general rule, control decks beat greedy decks, greedy decks beat point-slam decks, and point-slam decks beat control decks. In practice, however, it is not this simple, and many archetypes use more than one of these concepts in order to be viable.
