Progression system in Gwent.
First implemented in April 2020, Journey is an alternative to the previously known daily progression of gaining in-game resources for round wins in online modes. Divided into levels, each Journey has a standard and a premium path, the latter offered for purchase, filled with various rewards. The standard path offers mainly currencies, while the premium path comes with a neutral leader skin and many additional vanity items. Due to that, and typically for Gwent, Journeys are always themed around a primary and a secondary character from the Witcher universe and accompanied by a story accessible in-game. Additionally, there is always a number of contracts to complete for more rewards.
Elis is a graphic designer in her early 20s, hailing from the Czech Republic. She graduated with a degree in Graphics and Art and has been involved in art and design since her childhood. A coincidence led her to the Witcher saga, and the Witcher saga led her to Gwent, and what she might lack in experience, she compensates for with passion for playing and learning the game. Within the team, she aims to create a visual presence that is united, branded and very much "Aretuza".
