Introducing the Aretuza Spring Team Clash!

Last month, we saw the strongest nations in the world of Gwent compete with Austria emerging victorious after taking the long road of qualification to even arrive at the tournament. Now we shift our focus to the many teams in the Gwent community, with some of the most recognizable teams around. Cheer on your favorites and get involved yourself by reading on to find out more.

Teams Involved

The main tournament will consist of a group stage, where the 8 participating teams are split in half, thus competing in groups of 4. From each group, the top 2 teams will advance to the single elimination semifinals from which an overall champion will be crowned. We have chosen 6 teams to advance into the group stage automatically and they are as follows:

  • Team Aretuza
  • GwentDetta Team
  • Team China
  • Team Legacy
  • Team Leviathan Gaming
  • Team Nova

In addition to these 6, the last 2 spots will be filled out by the winners of a qualification tournament occurring on Saturday, May 9th. This one day event also has 6 invited participants which may be found below:

  • ESC Card Gaming
  • Rivia Cavaliers
  • Sensual Team
  • Team Bandit Gang
  • Team Elder Blood
  • Vale Do Pontar

On top of these 6, any of you could also participate! Sign-ups are open to any community members (who are not active members of any of the above organizations) to form teams of 3-4 players and get involved in the action. Sign up today to earn you chance to take after Austria and march all the way to the championship! If you do not already have a team lined up, don't fret; join the Team Aretuza Discord server to stay updated regarding the tournament and ask around for teammates.
