Joshua Witcher

Joshua Witcher was first introduced to the world of CCGs with YuGiOh when he was around 6 or 7, though after a few years the interest fell off for quite some time. When he just started college, he discovered the world of the Witcher 3, which had originally drawn his interest because of his last name. Immediately after playing the game, he was smitten with every aspect of it and its world. It was only a matter of time before his interest in CCGs was piqued by Gwent. In 2019 he launched the game for the very first time and has been playing consistently ever since. Josh has also started on a degree in Journalism and Promotional Communication, which he hopes to finish in 2023.

Peter Hechler

Johaggis, or as some call him, “Peter”, started playing Gwent as soon as it went into closed beta. During closed beta, he peaked at #75 on ladder, but took a break from the game after open beta began. He started playing again in late 2017, and has been a consistent Pro Rank player since February 2018. Lately, he's been writing articles and doing casting for community tournaments. As a Gwent player, he tends towards Scoia’tael, particularly Francesca, though the only faction he really doesn’t play is Monsters.

Eliška Hanáčková

Elis is a graphic designer in her early 20s, hailing from the Czech Republic. She graduated with a degree in Graphics and Art and has been involved in art and design since her childhood. A coincidence led her to the Witcher saga, and the Witcher saga led her to Gwent, and what she might lack in experience, she compensates for with passion for playing and learning the game. Within the team, she aims to create a visual presence that is united, branded and very much "Aretuza".

Ann-Kathrin Kirchner

Ann is a Graphic Designer currently studying Graphic Design in Frankfurt. She got into Gwent through the Witcher 3, and fell in love with the game, especially its art, in an instant. Having spent most of her time playing boats and bears (SK) she proclaimed herself Queen of Skellige. In her freetime she enjoys multiple naps a day and definitely also does other things!

Henry Fang

Shinmiri2 has been playing Gwent since Closed Beta and consistently finished in the Top 100 of Pro Rank. He is known for his educational streaming style as well as being an official caster and analyst for Gwent Masters tournaments. His favourite thing about Gwent is how you can almost always pinpoint the reason or misplay that caused you to win or lose a game, which is vital to improving. He has loved playing competitive strategy games all his life. Before Gwent he was a top-tier Dota player and has competed on teams such as Meet Your Makers and compLexity.

Nick Akerman

Nick is an experienced writer and producer whose two main passions are gaming and football. He was worked for a number of publications in both fields and currently oversees B/R Football's gaming output. Nick played FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer competitively before turning his attention to Gwent, where he quickly reached Pro Rank. Nick is keen to work closely with content creators to help improve their skills, and has ambitions to compete at the top level in Gwent.

Matthew Ryan

Lionhart is an English streamer who has been playing Gwent since Closed Beta. Having been an avid Witcher 3 fan, inevitably he succumbed to the temptation of Gwent having previously played Hearthstone. After taking a break from streaming for 18 months, Lionhart has returned to a daily stream schedule of Gwent with the aim of steadily improve his placements as well as co-hosting the Out Of Focus talkshow. The streams are welcoming for new players and seasoned veterans.

Brett Cervantes

TheFoxBride is an American who has been playing Gwent since becoming obsessed with The Witcher universe, primarily the books. With a degree in history, it was a natural fit to fall in love with the medieval fantasy world that is brimming with subtlety. This led to starting multiple podcasts that cover the games, show, and books, all with an emphasis on insight you would not find anywhere else. Within the team, he aims to showcase the personalities of fellow teammates and give the audience an appreciation of the creator behind the content. Whenever he is not busy writing fantasy, working out, or watching/playing sports, you can catch weekly streams where he and his fiancee play Gwent, and talk way too much about Disney movies.

Jack Steedman

Driftbling is a streamer, content creator, and former competitive team manager. He also produces original music, DJs, and is a part owner of an Escape Room business. He first fell in love with video games as a child playing Sonic on a Sega Megadrive that he still owns. He grew up playing Pokemon and so naturally fell into competitive draft leagues. Having won his fair share of these he found his way into Gwent around the infamous midwinter patch, where he was confused as to why his deck with the funniest voice lines (dwarves) was consistently not receiving ggs. While not without a competitive edge of his own, he has always found great fulfilment in helping others, and so one of his greatest joys in Gwent is helping other players from the very best competitive players to new players playing for the first time. He aims to keep his streams a mixture of cutting humour and pertinent game analysis, with his main goal being to entertain his chat. You can often see him in co op streams with friends or chat's real favourite Driftmum.

Kyle Hendrick

KyleTheBearded is an American who is new to the Gwent scene. Kyle fell in love with Gwent starting with The Witcher 3 and eventually discovered Gwent: The Witcher Card game. He also enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons, reading comic books, and pretty much anything nerd and geek related. When he isn't streaming Gwent or working on other streaming projects he is working for an Amazon supply company that buys old video games systems, refurbishes them and then sells them on Amazon.

Peter Lange

My name is Peter and I'm from Poland. I stream mainly in my native language but I'm not afraid to use English when it's needed. I'm 38 years old with a steady job as a forklift operator, so I train my focus for Gwent in work. I've tried a lot of CCG's in my life, but only Gwent got my attention for longer and I have loved it since Open Beta. Now I'm addicted to Gwent. Homebrew and off-meta decks are mainly my content for the past year or more, so if there is some interesting deck somewhere, you can be sure I'll play it on stream. I'm also a sci-fi books and movies lover with an addiction to 60's, 70's, and 80's music.

Philipp Meißner

Kafunow is a German Gwent Streamer/Content Creator who takes nothing very seriously. He's been playing Gwent since the closed Beta and loves the game so much that he decided to share his experience or decks with the community in Gwent. In his lifetime, he started playing with cards at a very young age with Pokemon Cards, later Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, Shadowverse etc. His favourite Quote is: “I fear not the man who has practiced 10000 Decks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one Deck 10000 times”

Grzegorz Pawłowski

Kurikara is 30 years old Gwent player from Poland. His introduction to the card games was Magic: the Gathering during High School. A newcomer to the world of The Witcher, which he immediately started to follow after the first few rounds of Gwent. Former content creator for fansites and teams dedicated to various trading card games. 

Privately, a hobbyist web designer who learns to code. If he is not doing anything constructive, then he certainly is trying to save Azeroth.

Tanya

Hi, guys! My name is Tanya, and I am quite a good GWENT player from Ukraine. My journey in GWENT started in 2017 when I studied International Relations in Poland. Since then, I've never left the game. Moreover, I decided to increase the impact of the Witcher universe by streaming. It also helped me to improve gameplay that now allows me to reach each season pretty high results. I'm trying my best at streams, also singing and making cool guides on YouTube. I speak English, Polish, Ukrainian and Russian, also a little bit Spanish and German. Learning languages is one of my passions, after the GWENT, of course. Leidee Squirrel

Leidee_Squirrel is an American expat living abroad in the UK, with an obsession of video games, floofs, and she claims to be an amateur movie/tv show connoisseur. She has been playing video games ever since she can remember. Ever since her big brother got the very first Playstation, she would watch for hours on how to play different games. Leidee Squirrel studied Social Work in Florida, and she enjoys helping others; Her streams focus around being beginner friendly, and Let's play style. Leidee Squirrel has many years experience with TCG's, having played Hearthstone (Toxic druid Jade player), Magic the Gathering, and also having collected Pokemon cards. She has now been introduced to Gwent, and hasn't stopped playing since. 

Normal Life

Normal Life is a passionate and dedicated content creator from the UK. He first started creating “how to” guides for video games on YouTube in 2019, before becoming a regular Gwent streamer on Twitch. Normal Life has Cystic Fibrosis, a life limiting genetic illness, with video games being his passion that helps to keep him well by taking his mind of his condition and improving his psychological well-being. When not creating content, Normal Life can be found working for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, his role involves him supporting young individuals with Cystic Fibrosis aiming to improve their mental health by playing video games. Normal Life is also a massive Star Wars fan, an avid Aston Villa supporter, and enjoys building his own gaming PCs.
